Area of Expertise
Dr. Tomaszewski is a professor, Extension dairy specialist, and state coordinator of the Texas Dairy Herd Improvement Association. He also leads the dairy science section in the Department of Animal Science. Tomaszewski has statewide responsibility for the dairy herd improvement program, and specializes in DHI and record evaluation. He develops decision support models to assist producers in making profitable management decisions and evaluates new electronic monitoring devices for dairy herd management. He also teaches undergraduate students in the use of microcomputers in herd management.
