Area of Expertise
David Lee is the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Dairy Extension Specialist for the state of New Jersey. He heads the state’s milk quality program, as well as several risk management programs including financial management workshops, the New Jersey Crop Insurance Education Initiative, and an integrated pest management program on field crops. David also serves as a technical advisor for milk and dairy equipment companies, testing some of the latest technological advancements in the dairy industry. He has spent time abroad in Russia and Sweden as an international dairy consultant and has visited a variety of dairy facilities all over the United States. Some of the projects he is currently involved with are the National Mastitis Council Education and Annual Meeting Committees, Garden State Dairy Alliance, International Agricultural and Environmental Affairs Committee and the New Jersey Raw Milk Advisory Committee.
