Featured Distributor:

WWS España

Farnear Holsteins has become a familiar name to Holstein breeders in recent years, largely due to the success of Regancrest Debbie-Jo-ET (EX-92 GMD DOM), the famous 9HO1729 PATRON daughter and Dellia granddaughter that the Simon family purchased as an unborn choice in 1996. Debbie-Jo’s DURHAM son 14HO4056 DECKER has been a popular type improver, especially in the UK, where he ranks 7th for both PLI and Type Merit. Farnear’s seeds for success were planted long before the Debbie-Jo era, beginning with Joseph M. Simon’s purchase of the farm in 1927.

After just two short years as a WWS distributor, the team from WWS España earned the Rising Star Award at the 2010 WWS Distributors’ Conference in Izmir, Turkey. Since January 2008, this organization has quickly climbed into the top ten among all WWS distributors for total dollars of semen purchased. The secrets of their success are not unheard of: excellent service as a top priority, a passionate and motivated sales team, frequent communication, and commitment to a simple yet effective business plan. Of course, these success factors do not occur randomly. Fortunately, WWS España managers Juan José Martínez Lavin and Adrián González Garrido have kindly shared insights into their success.
